It is raining and stormy in Stockholm since some days. Temperatures are at historic minimums, it has not been this cold in June for more than 80 years. The winds have blown the blooms away from the trees, luckily I managed to get some nice photo shots of them before that happened.
Almost a full moon over the streets of Castelli Romani. The evenings are getting longer also on these latitudes.
Saturday morning, on my way to the gym. Trees are blooming, I note the first signs of a warming sun.
The shadows are still long and dark in the mornings. The sky sometimes seem very far away. Here is yet another study of the olive trees in morning sunlight at work. In this image you will also note the flagpole and our blue ESA flag.

Here is the view from my office window before shutting the shades to avoid screen reflections from the computer. The sun rises still low making the shadows from the olive tress long and dark. It’s still only spring in Italy.

After all my evening shots, here is a morning one of the view from my bathroom. An observant observer will also note a half-moon behind the branches of the tree.
Living on a hill gives these nice astronomic views. Next goal is to capture Jupiter and Venus as they are lining up in the early evening light.
